General Description
The LM1205isa very high frequencyvideo amplifier system
intendedforusein high resolution RGB monitor applica-
tions.In additiontothe three matched video amplifiers,the
LM1205 contains three gated single ended input black level
clamp comparatorsfor brightness control, three matched controlled attenuatorsfor contrast control,and threeDC
controlled sub-contrast attenuators providing gain trimca-
pabilityfor white balance.AllDC control inputs offer high
input impedanceandan operation range from0Vto4Vfor
easy interfaceto bus controlled alignment systems. The
LM1205 also containsa blanking circuit which clampsthe
video output voltage during blankingto within 0.1Vof
ground. This feature provides blanking capabilityatthe
cathodeofthe CRT.
