LM1204 150 MHz RGB Video Amplifier System
General Description
The LM1204isa triple 150 MHz video amplifier system
designed specificallyfor high resolution RGB video display
applications.In additionto three matched video amplifiers,
the LM1204 containsaDC operated contrast control,aDC
operated drive controlfor each amplifier,anda dual clamp-
ing systemfor both brightness controland video blanking.
The LM1204 also containsa back porch clamp pulsegener-
ator whichis activatedbyan externally supplied gH/HV
sync signalorbyan external composite video signal. The
gH/HV sync inputwill have priority overthe compositevid- input.A single bH/HV sync outputis providedforthe
automatically selected sync input signal. The back porch
clamp pulse widthis user adjustable from0.3 msto4ms.
The LM1204 video output stagewill directly drive most
Hybridor discrete CRT amplfier input stages withoutthe
needforan external buffer transistor.The devicehas been
designedto operate froma 12V supply withallDC controls
operating overa0Vto4V range providingforan easy inter-
faceto serial digital buss controlled monitors.
