General Description
The LF13508isan 8-channel analog multiplexer which con-
nectsthe outputto1ofthe8 analog inputs dependingon
the stateofa 3-bit binary address.An enable control allows
disconnectingthe output, thereby providinga packagese-
lect function.
This deviceis fabricated with National’s BI-FET technology
which provides ion-implanted JFETsforthe analog switchthe same chipasthe bipolar decode and switch drive
circuitry. This technology makes possible low constant
‘‘ON’’ resistance with analog input voltage variations. This
device doesnot suffer from latch-up problemsor static
charge blow-out problems associated with similar CMOS
parts.The digital inputsare designedto operate from both
TTL and CMOS levels while always providinga definite
break-before-make action.
The LF13509isa 4-channel differential analog multiplexer. 2-bit binary addresswill connectapairof independent
analog inputsto oneofany4 pairsof independent analog
outputs. The devicehasallthe featuresofthe LF13508
seriesand shouldbe used whenever differential analogin-
putsare required.
