ableto provide upto 1.5Aof Output Current.
Dropoutis guaranteedata maximumof 1.5Vat
the maximum output current, decreasingat lower
loads. The LD1086is pinto pin compatible with
the older 3-terminal adjustable regulators, but has
better performancesin termof drop and output
tolerance. 2.85V output versionis suitable for SCSI-2
active termination. Unlike PNP regulators, where partof the output currentis wastedas quiescent
current, the LD1086 quiescent current flows into
the load, so increase efficiency. Onlya 10μF
minimum capacitoris need for stability. The
deviceis suppliedin TO-220,D2 PAK,D2 PAK/A
andDPAK. On chiptrimmingallows theregulator reacha very tight output voltage tolerance,
within ±1%at 25°C.
