Offering everything necessary to build a High Efficiency through Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) reliable and robust resonant converter, the FSFR2100 simplifies designs and improves productivity, while Internal SuperFET™s with Fast-Recovery Type improving performance. The FSFR2100 combines power Body Diode (t =120 ns) rr MOSFETs with fast-recovery type body diodes, a high- Fixed Dead Time (350 ns) Optimized for MOSFETs side gate-drive circuit, an accurate current controlled oscillator, frequency limit circuit, soft-start, and built-in Up to 300kHz Operating Frequency protection functions. The high-side gate-drive circuit has Pulse Skipping for Frequency Limit (Programmable) a common-mode noise cancellation capability, which at Light-Load Condition guarantees stable operation with excellent noise immunity. The fast-recovery body diode of the MOSFETs Remote On/Off Control Using Control Pin improves reliability against abnormal operation conditions, while minimizing the effect of the reverse Protection Functions: Over-Voltage Protection recovery. Using the zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) (OVP), Over-Load Protection (OLP), Over-Current technique dramatically reduces the switching losses and Protection (OCP), Abnormal Over-Current Protection efficiency is significantly improved. The ZVS also (AOCP), Internal Thermal Shutdown (TSD) reduces the switching noise noticeably, which allows a small-sized Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) filter.
