General Description
The DS2003/DS9667/DS2004are comprisedof sevenhigh
voltage, high current NPN Darlington transistor pairs.All
units feature common emitter, open collector outputs.To
maximize their effectiveness, these units contain suppres-
sion diodesfor inductive loads andappropriate emitter base
resistorsfor leakage.
The DS2003/DS9667 hasa series base resistorto each
Darlington pair, thus allowing operation directly with TTLor
CMOS operatingat supply voltagesof 5.0V.
The DS2004has anappropriate input resistorto allow direct
operationfromCMOSor PMOS outputs operating from sup-
ply voltagesof 6.0Vto 15V.
The DS2003/DS9667/DS2004 offer solutionstoa great
many interface needs, including solenoids, relays, lamps,
small motors,and LEDs. Applicationsrequiringsink currents
beyondthe capabilityofa single output maybe accommo-
datedby parallelingthe outputs.
