General DescriptionThe DS90C031Bisa quad CMOS differentialline driverde-
signedfor applications requiring ultralow power dissipation
and high data rates.The deviceis designedto support data
ratesin excessof 155.5 Mbps (77.7 MHz) utilizing Low Volt-
age Differential Signaling (LVDS) technology.
The DS90C031B accepts TTL/CMOS input levelsand trans-
lates themtolow voltage (350 mV) differential outputsig-
nals.In additionthe driver supportsa TRI-STATE® function
that maybe usedto disablethe output stage, disablingthe
loadcurrent,and thus droppingthe device toan ultra lowidle
power stateof11mW typical. addition,the DS90C031B provides power-off high imped-
anceLVDS outputs.This feature assures minimal loadingef-
fectonthe LVDSbus lines when VCCisnot present.
The DS90C031Band companionline receiver (DS90C032B)
provideanew alternativeto highpower pseudo-ECLdevices
