General DescriptionThe DS7830/DS8830isa dual differentialline driver that
also performsthe dual four-input NANDor dual four-input
AND function.
TTL (Transistor-Transistor-Logic) multiple emitter inputsal-
lowthisline driverto interface with standard TTL systems.
The differential outputsare balanced andare designedto
drive long lengthsof coaxial cable, strip line,or twistedpair
transmission lines with characteristic impedancesof 50Ωto
500Ω. The differential featureofthe output eliminates
troublesome ground-loop errors normally associated with
single-wire transmissions.
