IEEE Standard 488-1978 General Purpose Interface Bus
(GPIB). PNP inputsare usedatall driver inputsfor minimum
loading,and hysteresisis providedatall receiver inputsfor
added noise margin.The IEEE-488 requiredbus termination providedinternallywith anactiveturn-off featurewhichdis-
connects thetermination fromthebus when VCCis removed.
The General Purpose InterfaceBusis comprisedof16sig-
nal lines—8for dataand8for interface management.The
data linesare always implemented with DS75160A,andthe
