General Description
The DS1648/DS3648 and DS1678/DS3678are quad 2-in-
put multiplexers with TRI-STATE outputs designedto drive
the large capacitive loads(upto 500pF) associated with
MOS memory systems.A PNP input structureis employed minimize input currentsso that driver loadingin large
memory systemsis reduced. The circuit employs Schottky-
clamped transistorsfor high speedand TRI-STATE outputs
forbus operation.
The DS1648/DS3648hasa 15X resistorin series withthe
outputsto dampen transients causedbythe fast-switching
output. The DS1678/DS3678hasa direct,low impedance
outputforuse withor withoutan external resistor.
