DescriptionThe DAC8881isa 16-bit, single-channel, voltage-
output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that
low-power operation and a flexible SPI
interface. It also features 16-bit monotonicity,
excellent linearity,
precision output
swingtobe achievedto 5.5V.
The device supportsa standard SPI serial interface
capableof operating with input data clock frequenciesto 50 MHz. The DAC8881 requires an external
reference voltageto set the output rangeof the
channel.A programmable power-on reset circuit
also incorporated into the deviceto ensure that
DAC output powersupat zero-scaleor midscale,
remains there untila valid write command.
Additionally, the device has the capabilityto function either unipolar straight binaryor 2's complement
