DescriptionThe DAC8560isa low-power, voltage output, 16-bit
digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The DAC8560
includes a 2.5-V, 2-ppm/°C internal reference
(enabledby default), givinga full-scale output voltage
rangeof0Vto 2.5V. The internal reference has an
initial accuracyof 0.02% and can sourceupto20 mA the VREF pin. The deviceis monotonic,
very good linearity, and minimizes undesired
code transient voltages (glitch). The DAC8560
versatile 3-wire serial interface that operates
rates upto 30 MHz.Itis compatible with standard
SPI, QSPI, Microwire, and digital-signal-processor
(DSP) interfaces.
The DAC8560 incorporatesa power-on-reset
circuit that ensures the DAC output powersup
scale and remains there untila valid codeis written
the device. The DAC8560 containsa power-down
feature, accessed over the serial interface, that
reduces the current consumptionof the device to
