® DAC7714 DAC7714 Quad, Serial Input, 12-Bit, Voltage Output DIGITAL-TO-ANALOG CONVERTER FEATURES DESCRIPTION l LOW POWER: 250mW (max) The DAC7714 is a quad, serial input, 12-bit, voltage output Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) with guar- l UNIPOLAR OR BIPOLAR OPERATION anteed 12-bit monotonic performance over the –40°C lSETTLING TIME: 10μs to 0.012% to +85°C temperature range. An asynchronous reset l 12-BIT LINEARITY AND MONOTONICITY: clears all registers to either mid-scale (800 ) or zero- H –40°C to +85°C scale (000 ), selectable via the RESETSEL pin. The H device can be powered from a single +15V supply orlUSER SELECTABLE RESET TO MID- from dual +15V and –15V supplies. SCALE OR ZERO-SCALE Low power and small size makes the DAC7714 ideal l SECOND-SOURCE for DAC8420 for process control, data acquisition systems, and l SMALL SO-16 PACKAGE closed-loop servo-control.
