DescriptionThe DAC082S085 deviceisa full-featured, general-
purpose, DUAL, 8-bit, voltage-output, digital-to-analog
converter (DAC) that can operate froma single 2.7-V 5.5-V supply and consumes 0.6 mWat3V and 1.6at5V. The DAC082S085is packagedin 10-pin
SON and VSSOP packages. The 10-pin WSON
package makes the DAC082S085 the smallest DUAL
DACinits class. The on-chip output amplifier allows
rail-to-rail output swing, and the three-wire serial
interface operatesat clock rates upto 40 MHz over
the entire supply voltage range. Competitive devices
are limitedto 25-MHz clock ratesat supply voltages the 2.7Vto 3.6V range. The serial interfaceis
compatible with standard SPI™, QSPI, MICROWIRE,
and DSP interfaces.
