DescriptionThe CDCE925 and CDCEL925 are modular PLL-
based low-cost, high-performance, programmable
clock synthesizers, multipliers, and dividers. They
generate upto five output clocks froma single input
frequency. Each output can be programmed in-
system for any clock frequencyupto 230 MHz, usingto two independent configurable PLLs.
The CDCEx925 hasa separate output supply pin,
VDDOUT, whichis 1.8V for CDCEL925 and 2.5Vto
3.3V for CDCE925.
The input accepts an external crystalor LVCMOS
clock signal.In caseofa crystal input, an on-chip
load capacitoris adequate for most applications. The
valueof the load capacitoris programmable from0to pF. Additionally, an on-chip VCXOis selectable
which allows synchronizationof the output frequencyan external control signal, thatis, PWM signal.
