Recorders, and Printers Description
The CDCE949 and CDCEL949 are modular PLL-
based low cost, high-performance, programmable
clock synthesizers, multipliers and dividers. They
generate upto9 output clocks froma single input
frequency. Each output can be programmed in-
system for any clock frequencyupto 230 MHz, usingto four independent configurable PLLs.
The CDCEx949 has separate output supply pins,
VDDOUT, 1.8V for the CDCEL949, and 2.5Vto 3.3V
for CDCE949.
The input accepts an external crystalor LVCMOS
clock signal.Ifan external crystalis used, an on-chip
load capacitoris adequate for most applications. The
valueof the load capacitoris programmable from0to pF. Additionally, an on-chip VCXOis selectable,
allowing synchronizationof the output frequencytoan
external control signal, thatis,a PWM signal.
