3 Description Upto 10-A Charge Current and Adapter Current The bq24600isa highly integrated Li-ion or Li-
polymer switch-mode battery-charge controller.It• High-Accuracy Voltage and Current Regulation offers a constant-frequency synchronous PWM– ±0.5% Charge-Voltage Accuracy controller with high-accuracy charge current and– ±3% Charge-Current Accuracy voltage regulation, charge preconditioning,
termination, and charge status monitoring,• Integration Internal Loop Compensation The bq24600 charges the batteryin three phases:
preconditioning, constant current, and constant– Internal Soft Start voltage. Charge is terminated when the current• Safety reachesa minimum level. An internal charge timer– Input Overvoltage Protection providesa safety backup. The bq24600 automatically
restarts the charge cycleif the battery voltage falls– Battery Thermistor Sense Hot/Cold Charge
