TOUCH-SCREEN CONTROLLER The ADS7846 is a 4-wire touch screen controller manufactured by Texas Instruments (TI) and Burr-Brown (BB). It features a 12-bit sampling Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) with a synchronous serial interface and low power consumption. The device is designed for battery-powered systems and operates with a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5V. It includes a built-in temperature sensor and can perform up to 125,000 conversions per second. The ADS7846 is compatible with 4-wire resistive touch screens and supports both single-ended and differential reference modes. It is available in a 16-pin SSOP package.
