ADS7845 ® ADS7845 TOUCH SCREEN CONTROLLER DESCRIPTION FEATURES l5-WIRE TOUCH SCREEN INTERFACE The ADS7845 is a 12-bit sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a synchronous serial interfacelRATIOMETRIC CONVERSION and low on-resistance switches for driving touch lSINGLE SUPPLY: 2V to 5V screens. Typical power dissipation is 750μW at a lUP TO 125kHz CONVERSION RATE 125kHz throughput rate and a +2.7V supply. The reference voltage (V ) can be varied between 1V andlSERIAL INTERFACE REF +V , providing a corresponding input voltage range lPROGRAMMABLE 8- OR 12-BIT RESOLUTION CC of 0V to V . The device includes a shutdown mode REF lAUXILIARY ANALOG INPUTS which reduces typical power dissipation to under lFULL POWER-DOWN CONTROL 0.5μW. The ADS7845 is guaranteed down to 2.7V operation.
