12-Bit, 4-Channel Serial Output Sampling ANALOG-TO-DIGITAL CONVERTER The ADS7841 is a 12-bit, 4-channel, serial-output analog-to-digital converter (ADC) manufactured by Texas Instruments (TI), formerly Burr-Brown (BB). It operates with a single +5V power supply and features a synchronous serial interface for communication with microcontrollers or DSPs. The device includes a sample-and-hold function, and it can achieve a maximum sampling rate of 200 kilosamples per second (ksps). The ADS7841 is designed for applications requiring low power consumption and high-speed data acquisition, such as in portable instrumentation, industrial process control, and data acquisition systems. It comes in a 16-pin SOIC package.
