DESCRIPTIONThe ADS1254isa precision, wide dynamic range, delta-sigma, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with 24-bit
resolution. The delta-sigma architectureis used for wide dynamic range andto ensure 24 bitsof no missing
codes performance. An effective resolutionof19 bitsis achieved for conversion rates upto20 kHz.
The ADS1254 is designed for high-resolution measurement applications in cardiac diagnostics, smart
transmitters, industrial process control, weight scales, chromatography, and portable instrumentation. The
converter includesa flexible, two-wire synchronous serial interface for low-cost isolation.
The ADS1254isa multi-channel converter andis offeredinan SSOP-20 package.
