converter that digitizes signalsto8 bits while consuming just mWof power (typ). The ADC1175 usesa unique archi-
tecture that achieves7.5 Effective Bits. Output formattingis
straight binary coding.
The excellent DC and AC characteristicsof this device,
together withits low power consumption and +5V single
supply operation, makeit ideally suitedfor many video,
imaging and communications applications, including usein
portable equipment. Furthermore, the ADC1175is resistant latch-up and the outputs are short-circuit proof. The top
and bottomof the ADC1175’s reference ladderis available
for connections, enablinga wide rangeof input possibilities.
The ADC1175is offeredin SOIC (EIAJ) and TSSOP.Itis
designedto operate overthe commercial temperature range -20˚Cto +75˚C.
