The AD677 is a 16-bit, high-speed, sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) manufactured by Analog Devices. It features a successive approximation architecture and is designed for high-performance data acquisition systems. The AD677 offers a maximum sampling rate of 100 kSPS (kilo samples per second) and provides a ±2 LSB (Least Significant Bit) integral nonlinearity error. It operates with a single +5V power supply and includes an on-chip sample-and-hold amplifier, a precision reference, and a high-speed parallel interface. The device is available in a 28-pin plastic DIP (Dual Inline Package) and is specified for operation over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
