General Description
The ’VHC/’VHCT244isan advanced high speed CMOSoc-
talbus buffer fabricated with silicon gate C2MOS technolo-
gy.It achieves high speed operation similarto equivalent
Bipolar Schottky TTL while maintainingthe CMOSlow pow- dissipation. The ’VHC/’VHCT244isa non-inverting
TRI-STATE buffer having two active-low output enables.
These devicesare designedtobe usedas TRI-STATE
memory address drivers, clock drivers, andbus oriented
transmitter/receivers. input protection circuit ensures that 0V–7Vcanbeap-
pliedtothe input pins without regardtothe supply voltage.
This devicecanbe usedto interface5Vto3V systemsand
two supply systems suchas battery backup. This circuit
prevents device destructiondueto mismatched supplyand
input voltages.
