General Description
The 74VHC/VHCT08isan advanced high speed CMOS2
Input AND Gate fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technol-
ogy.It achievesthe high-speed operation similarto equiva-
lent Bipolar SchottkyTTL while maintainingthe CMOSlow
power dissipation.
The internal circuitis composedof4 stages including buffer
output, which provide high noise immunity and stable out-
put.An input protection circuit insuresthat0Vto7Vcanbe
appliedtothe input pins without regardtothe supply volt-
age. This devicecanbe usedto interface5Vto3V systems
andtwo supply systems suchas battery backup. This circuit
prevents device destructiondueto mismatched supplyand
input voltages.
