General Description
The ’VHC123A isan advancedhighspeedCMOS Monosta-
ble Multivibrator fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technol-
ogy.It achievesthe high speed operation similarto equiva-
lent Bipolar SchottkyTTL while maintainingthe CMOSlow
power dissipation. Each multivibrator features botha nega-
tive,A,anda positive,B, transition triggered input, eitherof
which canbe usedasan inhibit input. Also includedisa
clear input that when takenlow resetsthe one-shot. The
’VHC123Acanbe triggeredonthe positive transitionofthe
clear whileAis held lowandBis held high. Theoutput pulse
widthis determinedbythe equation:PWe (Rx)(Cx); whereisin seconds,Risin ohms,andCisin farads.
