General Description
The LVX3245isa dual-supply, 8-bit translating transceiver
thatis designedto interface betweena3Vbus anda5Vbusa mixed 3V/5V supply environment. The Transmit/Re-
ceive (T/R) input determinesthe directionof data flow.
Transmit (active-HIGH) enables data fromA portstoB
ports; Receive (active-LOW) enables data fromB portstoA
ports.TheOutput Enable input,when HIGH, disables bothA
andB portsby placing themina HIGHZ condition.TheA
port interfaces withthe3V bus;theB port interfaces with
the5V bus.
The LVX3245is suitablefor mixed voltage applications such notebook computers using 3.3V CPUand5V peripheral
components.
