General Description
The ’F160A and ’F162Aare high-speed synchronous dec-
ade counters operatinginthe BCD (8421) sequence. They
are synchronously presettablefor applicationsin program-
mable dividers. Therearetwo typesof Count Enable inputs
plusa Terminal Count outputfor versatilityin forming syn-
chronous multistage counters. The ’F160A hasan asyn-
chronous Master Reset inputthat overridesall other inputs
and forcesthe outputs LOW. The ’F162Ahasa Synchro-
nous Reset inputthat overrides countingand parallel load-
ingand allowsall outputstobe simultaneously resetonthe
rising edgeofthe clock.The ’F160A and ’F162Aare high
speed versionsofthe ’F160and ’F162.
