Description and Introduction

NPN Epitaxial Planar Silicon Transistors High-hFE, AF Amp Applications The **2SC3135** is a high-frequency, high-voltage NPN bipolar junction transistor (BJT) manufactured by **SANYO Semiconductor** (now part of ON Semiconductor). Designed for RF and power amplification applications, this component is widely used in communication systems, broadcast equipment, and industrial electronics where stable high-frequency performance is essential.

With a collector-emitter voltage (**VCE**) rating of **200V** and a collector current (**IC**) of **1.5A**, the 2SC3135 is capable of handling moderate power levels while maintaining efficiency. Its transition frequency (**fT**) of **30MHz** ensures reliable operation in RF amplification circuits. The transistor features low saturation voltage and high current gain, making it suitable for both linear and switching applications.

Packaged in a **TO-220** form factor, the 2SC3135 provides good thermal dissipation, which is crucial for maintaining performance under continuous operation. Engineers often utilize this transistor in push-pull amplifiers, RF drivers, and voltage regulators due to its robustness and consistent characteristics.

When implementing the 2SC3135, proper heat sinking and circuit design considerations are recommended to maximize longevity and efficiency. Its datasheet provides detailed specifications for optimal usage in various electronic designs.
