The SN74HC4060D consists of an oscillator and a 14-stage binary ripple counter. The oscillator can be configured using external resistors and capacitors. The counter advances on the falling edge of the clock signal, and only 10 of the 14 counter stages are accessible via output pins (Q4–Q10, Q12–Q14).
