The NCP1403 is a compact, high-efficiency boost converter integrated circuit (IC) designed to step up low input voltages to higher output levels, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. With an input voltage range as low as 0.8V, it is well-suited for devices powered by single or dual-cell alkaline, NiMH, or lithium-based batteries.  

Featuring a fixed-frequency PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) architecture, the NCP1403 ensures stable output voltage regulation while minimizing power losses. Its integrated power switch simplifies circuit design, reducing external component count and board space requirements. The IC supports output voltages up to 5.0V, with adjustable configurations available for greater flexibility.
