### **Descriptions:**  
The MAX3241ECAI+T is a low-power RS-232 transceiver ideal for battery-powered applications. It includes a proprietary low-dropout transmitter output stage for true RS-232 performance from a single 3V to 5.5V supply. The device features AutoShutdown Plus, which reduces power consumption by automatically entering a low-power mode when the RS-232 cable is disconnected.
