Description and Introduction

3.3-V ABT OCTAL BUFFER/DRIVER WITH 3-STATE OUTPUTS The LVTH240 is a 3.3V octal buffer/driver with 3-state outputs, manufactured by Texas Instruments (TI).  

### **Specifications:**  
- **Supply Voltage (VCC):** 3.3V ±10%  
- **High-Speed Operation:** 3.5 ns max propagation delay  
- **Output Drive:** ±12 mA (balanced output currents)  
- **Bus Hold on Data Inputs:** Eliminates the need for external pull-up/pull-down resistors  
- **3-State Outputs:** Allows for bus-oriented applications  
- **Input Voltage Levels:**  
  - **VIH (High-Level Input Voltage):** 2.0V (min)  
  - **VIL (Low-Level Input Voltage):** 0.8V (max)  
- **Output Voltage Levels:**  
  - **VOH (High-Level Output Voltage):** 2.4V (min) @ IOH = -12 mA
