Description and Introduction

60V N-Channel PowerTrench MOSFET **Introduction to the FDD5670 MOSFET by Fairchild Semiconductor**

The FDD5670 is a high-performance N-channel PowerTrench® MOSFET developed by Fairchild Semiconductor, designed for efficient power management in a variety of applications. With a drain-source voltage (VDS) rating of 60V and a continuous drain current (ID) of 30A, this component is well-suited for switching and amplification tasks in power supplies, motor control, and DC-DC converters.

Featuring low on-resistance (RDS(on)) of just 26mΩ at 10V gate drive, the FDD5670 minimizes conduction losses, enhancing overall system efficiency. Its advanced PowerTrench® technology ensures fast switching speeds while maintaining robustness against thermal and electrical stress. The device is housed in a TO-252 (DPAK) package, offering a compact footprint with reliable thermal dissipation.

Engineers favor the FDD5670 for its balance of performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness. Whether used in industrial automation, automotive systems, or consumer electronics, this MOSFET delivers consistent operation under demanding conditions. Its design prioritizes energy efficiency and thermal management, making it a dependable choice for modern power electronics.

Fairchild Semiconductor’s legacy of quality and innovation is evident in the FDD5670, which continues to meet the evolving needs of power conversion and control applications.
