Description and Introduction

100V N-Channel PowerTrench MOSFET The **FDD3670** from Fairchild Semiconductor is a high-performance N-channel PowerTrench® MOSFET designed for efficient power management in a variety of applications. This advanced MOSFET features low on-resistance (RDS(on)) and high current-handling capabilities, making it well-suited for switching power supplies, DC-DC converters, motor control, and other power electronics systems.

Built with Fairchild’s proprietary PowerTrench® technology, the FDD3670 delivers reduced conduction and switching losses, enhancing overall energy efficiency. Its compact TO-252 (DPAK) package ensures effective thermal performance while maintaining a small footprint on PCBs. With a drain-source voltage (VDS) rating of 30V and a continuous drain current (ID) of up to 46A, this component provides robust performance in demanding environments.

Key characteristics include fast switching speeds, improved thermal stability, and a low gate charge (Qg), which minimizes drive requirements and enhances system responsiveness. Engineers and designers can leverage the FDD3670 to optimize power conversion efficiency while maintaining reliability in industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics applications.

Fairchild Semiconductor’s commitment to quality ensures that the FDD3670 meets stringent industry standards, making it a dependable choice for modern power management solutions.
