Low-Power/ 24-Bit ANALOG-TO-DIGITAL CONVERTER The ADS1244 is a 24-bit, delta-sigma (ΔΣ) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) manufactured by Analog Devices (AD). It features a low-noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with gains from 1 to 128, a precision delta-sigma ADC with a third-order modulator, and a digital filter. The device operates from a single +5V supply and includes a built-in 2.5V reference. It supports a data output rate of up to 15 samples per second (SPS) and has a typical power consumption of 1.5mW. The ADS1244 is designed for high-precision measurement applications, such as industrial process control, weigh scales, and medical instrumentation. It is available in a 20-lead SSOP package.
