Description and Introduction

+3.3 V/+5 V Multiplying 12-Bit DAC With an 8-Bit Byte Interface The AD7948 is a 14-bit, 8-channel, successive approximation analog-to-digital converter (ADC) manufactured by Analog Devices. It operates with a single power supply ranging from 2.3V to 5.5V and features a high-speed serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP standards. The AD7948 has a throughput rate of up to 250 kSPS (kilo samples per second) and includes a low-power mode that reduces power consumption when the device is not converting. It also offers a wide input voltage range and an on-chip temperature sensor. The device is available in a 20-lead TSSOP package and is designed for applications requiring high accuracy and low power consumption, such as industrial control systems, medical instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
