4-bit Binary Counters The 74LS93 is a 4-bit binary counter manufactured by Panasonic. It is part of the 74LS series of TTL logic integrated circuits. The 74LS93 consists of four master-slave flip-flops internally connected to provide a divide-by-two section and a divide-by-eight section. Each section has a separate clock input (CP0 and CP1) to allow for independent operation. The counter can be reset to zero by applying a high signal to the reset inputs (R01 and R02). The 74LS93 operates with a supply voltage range of 4.75V to 5.25V and is designed for use in a wide range of digital applications, including frequency division, time delay generation, and digital counting. The device is available in a 14-pin DIP (Dual In-line Package) and is characterized for operation from 0°C to 70°C.
