DESCRIPTION

The TPS65193is dual high-voltage scan driverto drive an amorphous-silicon-gate (ASG) circuit on TFT glass.
Each single high-voltage scan driver receives logic-level inputsof CPVx and generates two high-voltage outputs CKVx and CKVBx. The device receivesa logic-level inputof STV and generatesa high-voltage outputof
STVP. These outputs are swings from Voff (–28V)to Von (35V) and are usedto drive the ASG circuit and
charge/discharge the capacitive loadsof the TFT LCD.In orderto reduce the power dissipationof the device,a
charge-share functionis implemented. The device featuresa discharge function, which shorts Voffto GNDin
orderto shut down the panel faster when the LCDis turned off.
