DescriptionThe TPS22920xisa small, space-saving load switch
with controlled turn onto reduce inrush current. The
device containsa N-channel MOSFET that can
operate over an input voltage rangeof 0.75Vto 3.6 and switch currentsupto4A. An integrated charge
pump biases the NMOS switchin orderto achievea
minimum switch ON resistance (rON). The switchis
controlledby an on/off input (ON), whichis capableof
interfacing directly with low-voltage control signals.
The TPS22920x hasa 1250-Ω on-chip resistor for
quick output discharge when the switchis turned off
which insures that the outputis not left floating.
The TPS22920x has an internally controlled rise time orderto reduce inrush current.
