DESCRIPTION

The M74HC243 is an high speed CMOS QUAD
BUS TRANSCEIVER (3-STATE) fabricated with
silicon gate C2 MOS technology.
The M74HC243 is a 3-state bidirectional
non-inverting buffer and is intended for two way
asynchronous communication between data
buses. It has high drive current outputs which
enable high speed operation when driving large
bus capacitance. The device has one active high
enable (GBA), and one active low enable (GAB)
All inputs are equipped with protection circuits
against static discharge and transient excess
voltage.
