General DescriptionThe LM6125 familyof high speed unity gain buffers slewat
800 V/μsand have asmallsignalbandwidthof50 MHz while
drivinga 50Ω load. These buffers drive ±300mA peakandnot oscillate while driving large capacitive loads. The
LM6125contains unique featuresnot found inpower buffers;
these include current limit, thermal shutdown, electronic
shutdown,andan errorflagthat warnsof fault conditions.
These buffersare built with National’s VIP™ (Vertically Inte-
grated PNP) process which providesfast PNP transistors
thatare true complementstothe alreadyfast NPN devices.
Thisadvanced junction-isolated process delivers high speed
performancewithoutthe needfor complexand expensivedi-
electric isolation.
