General DescriptionThe LM2766 CMOS charge-pump voltage converter oper-
atesasa voltage doublerforan input voltageinthe rangeof
+1.8Vto +5.5V. Two low cost capacitors anda diode are
usedin this circuitto provideupto20 mAof output current.
The LM2766 operatesat 200 kHz switching frequencyto
reduce output resistance and voltage ripple. Withan operat-
ing currentof only 350µA (operating efficiency greater than
90% with most loads) and 0.1µA typical shutdown current,
the LM2766 provides ideal performancefor battery powered
systems. The deviceis manufacturedina SOT-23-6 pack-
age.
