(DAC) allowsto adjust the output voltage from
1.3Vto 2.05V with 0.05V binary steps and from
2.1Vto 3.5V with 0.1V binary steps. The high pre-
cision internal reference, digitally trimmed, as-
sures the selected output voltageto within +/-1%.
Thanksto the window comparator system, the de-
vice provides excellent load transient perform-
ance. The high peak current gate drive affordsto
have fast switchingto the external power mos,
performing an high efficiency. The L6911B as-
suresa fast protection against load overvoltage
and load overcurrent. An external SCRis trig-
geredto crowbarthe input supplyin caseof over-
voltage.In caseof output short circuit the soft
start capacitoris discharged and the system
worksin hiccup mode.

PIN FUNCTIONS Name Description VSEN Connected tothe output voltageis ableto manage overvoltage conditions andthe PGOOD
signal. OCSET A resistor connected from thispin andthe upper Mos Drain sets the current limit protection.
The internal 200μA current generator sinksa current from the drain throughthe external
resistor. The overcurrent thresholdis duetothe following equation:= Iocs⋅ Rocs
Rdson SS The soft starttimeis programmed connectingan external capacitor from thispin and GND.
The internal current generator forces through the capacitor 10μA. Thispin canbe usedto
disable the device forcinga voltage lower than 0.4V.-8 VID0-4 Voltage Identification code pins. These input are open collector and TTL compatible. Are used programthe output voltageas specifiedin Table1 andtosetthe overvoltage and
powergood thresholds. COMP Thispinis connectedtothe error amplifier output andis usedto compensate the voltage
control feedback loop. FB Thispinis connectedtothe error amplifier inverting input andis usedto compensatethe
voltage control feedback loop. GND All internal voltage reference are referredto this pin. PGOOD Thispinisan open collector output andis pulled lowif the output voltageis not within ±10% the programmed voltage. Thispinis forced highifthe ”11111” VIDis set. PHASE Thispinis connectedtothe sourceofthe upper mosfet and providesthe return pathfor the
high side driver. This pin monitors the drop acrossthe upper mosfetforthe current limit. UGATE High side gate driveroutput. BOOT Bootstrap capacitor pin. Through thispinis suppliedthe high side driver andthe upper mosfet. PGND Power ground pin. Thispin has tobe connected closelytothe low side mosfet sourcein order reducethe noise injection intothe device. LGATE Thispinis the lower mosfet gate driver output. VCC Device supply voltage. The operative supply voltage rangeis 4.5Vto 12V.not connect VINto 12Vif VCCis 5V. OVP Over voltage protection.Ifthe output voltage reach the 15% abovethe programmed voltage
