FXL2T245 Low Voltage Dual Supply 2-Bit Signal Translator with Configurable Voltage Supplies and Signal Levels and 3-STATE Outputs January 2005 Revised January 2005 FXL2T245 Low Voltage Dual Supply 2-Bit Signal Translator with Configurable Voltage Supplies and Signal Levels and 3-STATE Outputs General Description Features The FXL2T245 is a configurable dual-voltage-supply trans-Bi-directional interface between any 2 levels from 1.1V lator designed for both uni-directional and bi-directional to 3.6V voltage translation between two logic levels. The deviceFully configurable, inputs track V level CC allows translation between voltages as high as 3.6V to as Non-preferential power-up sequencing; either V may CC low as 1.1V. The A Port tracks the V level, and the CCA be powered-up first B Port tracks the V level. This allows for bi-directional CCB No power-up sequencing required voltage translation over a variety of voltage levels: 1.2V, Outputs remain in 3-STATE until active V level is 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V. CC reached The device remains in 3-STATE until both V s reach CC active levels allowing either V to be powered-up first.Outputs switch to 3-STATE if either V is at GND CC CC Internal power down control circuits place the device inPower-off protection 3-STATE if either V is removed.
