The DAC7728 is a low-power, octal, 12-bit
digital-to-analog converter (DAC). With a 5V• Unipolar Output: 0Vto +33V
reference, the output can either bea bipolar ±15V• 12-Bit Resolution voltage when operating froma dual ±15.5V (or• Low Power: 13.5mW/Ch higher) power supply, ora unipolar 0V to +30V Relative Accuracy: 1LSB Max voltage when operating
Witha 5.5V reference,• Flexible User Calibration ±16.5V fora dual ±17V• Low Zero/Gain Error:±1 LSB Max unipolar 0Vto +33V voltage when operating froma Low Glitch: 4nV-s +33.5V (or higher) power supply. This DAC provides
low-power operation, good linearity, and low glitch• Settling Time: 15μs over the specified temperature range of –40°Cto• Channel Monitor Output +105°C. This deviceis trimmedin manufacturing and• Programmable Gain: x4,x6 has very low zero and full-scale error.In addition,

witha DSPor microprocessor. The eight DACs andAPPLICATIONS the auxiliary registers are addressed with five address• Automatic Test Equipment lines. The device features double-buffered interface
