The DAC7512 uses a versatile three-wire serial* TESTED MONOTONIC BY DESIGNinterface that operates at clock rates up to 30MHz and is* POWER-ON RESET TO 0V™ ™ ™compatible with standard SPI , QSPI , Microwire , and* THREE POWER-DOWN FUNCTIONSDSP interfaces.* LOW POWER SERIAL INTERFACE WITHThe reference for the DAC7512 is derived from the powerSCHMITT-TRIGGERED INPUTSsupply, resulting in the widest dynamic output range possible.* ON-CHIP OUTPUT BUFFER AMPLIFIER, The DAC7512 incorporates a power-on reset circuit thatRAIL-TO-RAIL OPERATIONensures that the DAC output powers up at 0V and remainsthere until a valid write takes place in the device. The* SYNC INTERRUPT FACILITYDAC7512 contains a power-down feature, accessed over the* SOT23-6 AND MSOP-8 PACKAGESserial interface, that can reduce the current consumption ofthe device to 50nA at 5V.APPLICATIONSThe low power consumption of this part in normal operation* PORTABLE BATTERY-POWEREDmakes it ideally suited to portable battery-operated equip-INSTRUMENTSment.
