General Description

The ADC1175isa low power,20 Msps analog-to-digital con-
verter that digitizes signalsto8 bits while consuming just60of power (typ). The ADC1175 usesa unique architecture
that achieves 7.5 Effective Bits. Output formattingis straight
binary coding.
The excellent DC andAC characteristicsof this device,to-
gether withitslow power consumption and +5V singlesupply
operation, makeit ideally suitedfor many video, imaging and
communications applications, including usein portable
equipment. Furthermore,the ADC1175is resistantto latchup
andthe outputsare short-circuit proof. Thetop and bottomof
theADC1175’s reference ladderis availablefor connections,
enablinga wide rangeof input possibilities.
The ADC1175is offeredin SOIC (EIAJ) and TSSOP.Itis de-
signedto operate overthe commercial temperature rangeof
-20˚Cto +75˚C.
