General Description
The LVT162245 contains sixteen non-inverting bidirectional
bufferswith TRI-STATE outputsandis intendedforbusori-
ented applications.The deviceis byte controlled. Each byte
has separate control inputs whichcanbe shorted together
forfull 16-bit operation.The T/R inputs determinethe direc-
tionof data flow throughthe device.TheOE inputs disable
boththeAand Bportsby placing themina high impedance
state.
The LVT162245is designed with equivalent 25X seriesre-
sistancein boththe Highand Low statesofthe output. This
design reducesline noisein applications suchas memory
address drivers, clock drivers,andbus transceivers/trans-
mitters.
This non-inverting transceiveris designedfor low-voltage
(3.3V) VCC applications,but withthe capabilityto providea
TTL interfacetoa5V environment. The LVT162245is fabri-
cated withan advanced BiCMOS technologyto achieve
high speed operation similarto5V ABT while maintaininga
low power dissipation.
