74LCX374 Low Voltage Octal D-Type Flip-Flop with 5V Tolerant Inputs and Outputs February 1994 Revised March 2001 74LCX374 Low Voltage Octal D-Type Flip-Flop with 5V Tolerant Inputs and Outputs General Description Features The LCX374 consists of eight D-type flip-flops featuring5V tolerant inputs and outputs separate D-type inputs for each flip-flop and 3-STATE out-2.3V–3.6V V specifications provided CC puts for bus-oriented applications. A buffered clock (CP) 8.5 ns t max (V = 3.3V), 10 μA I max PD CC CC and Output Enable (OE) are common to all flip-flops. The LCX374 is designed for low voltage (3.3V or 2.5V) VPower-down high impedance inputs and outputs CC applications with capability of interfacing to a 5V signalSupports live insertion/withdrawal (Note 1) environment. ±24 mA output drive (V = 3.0V) CC The LCX374 is fabricated with an advanced CMOS tech- Implements patented noise/EMI reduction circuitry nology to achieve high speed operation while maintaining Latch-up performance exceeds 500 mA CMOS low power dissipation. ESD performance: Human Body Model > 2000V Machine Model > 200V Note 1: To ensure the high-impedance state during power up or down, OE should be tied to V through a pull-up resistor: the minimum value or the CC resistor is determined by the current-sourcing capability of the driver.
